Who we are

These Guys Ltd (“These Guys”, “we”) runs theseguys.co and is responsible for the personal details you give us here. We’re registered in England and Wales, company number 14968580, at 53C Waldram Park Road, Forest Hill, London SE23 2PW.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us:

• Through the contact form: your name, email address, company if you add one, the kinds of work you’re interested in and your message.
• Through the jobs form: your name, email address, a link to your work, what you do, where you’re based if you say, and anything else you tell us.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you write.

We don’t ask for anything sensitive, so please don’t include health details, financial details or similar in a message.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and talk about your project or your work.
• If we end up working together, to plan and deliver that work.
• For freelancers, to keep you in mind for jobs that suit you.

Under UK data protection law, our reason for using your details this way is our legitimate interest in replying to people who get in touch, and, if you want to work with us, taking the steps needed before a contract. We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

We don’t sell your details or share them for marketing. A few services help us run things, and only use your details to do that job for us:

• Resend, which delivers the forms on this site to our inbox.
• Google, which runs our email.
• The company that hosts this website.

Some of these services may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK’s approved contract clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and freelancer details are kept for up to two years after we last hear from you, then deleted, unless we’re working together, in which case we keep what we need for as long as the work and our records require. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set any cookies, doesn’t track you and doesn’t use analytics. It does remember a couple of small display settings in your own browser, like whether you’ve already seen the opening animation this visit. That stays on your device and never comes to us.

If that changes, we’ll update this page and ask first where the law says we should.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, ask us to stop using them or limit how we use them, and ask us to pass them to you or someone else in a usable format. Email jasmine@theseguys.co and we’ll reply within a month.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab). We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first, though.
